THE MONSTER DOCTOR is a brand-new 6+ fiction series for Macmillan publishing, written by me and heavily illustrated on almost every page in glorious black and white (and a lot of shades of grey).

 

It is the story of a boy called Ozzy who befriends a zombie called Morty Mort whose arm (and ears) have just dropped off. Morty accompanies him to Lovecraft Lane where he meets a very strange doctor, Annie Von Sichertall.

Book 1: The Monster Doctor 

Ozzy takes a ride through some weird dimensions in a living ambulance called Lance and gets rude comments from a BAT-NAV called Bruce. He eventually ends up swallowed by a dragon (which isn't as bad as it sounds.) Between all that nonsense there's some weird stuff about blobs with colds, revolutionary glue, a tin of very dangerous biscuits, a magic porcupine called Norman and an extremely odd book called 'MONSTER MALADIES'.

Book 2: Revolting Rescue 

WARNING! A major CUTIE incident has been reported. Cuties are the most revolting creatures known to monsters. Physical contact must be avoided at all costs!

Book 3: Slime Crime

Brand-new wonder drug FIXITALL can cure every single monster illness. But, it does have one or two (12,936 actually)  teeny little side-effects. Ooops!

Book 4: Foul Play

The Monster Doctor HATES the sport of Monsterball. But now she and Ozzy are trapped on the pitch at the Monsterball cup final.
